Yesteryear Collection

In 1921, Scania-Vabis scored a major triumph at a time when the company sorely needed one to recover from nagging financial woes. Scania-Vabis created a 2.6 tonne bus designed to carry a dozen passengers and plenty of cargo over the treacherous ice and snow brought by severe Scandinavian winters. Propelled by a 3.5 litre, four cylinder, 36 bhp engine and eight gears, the 1922 Scania-Vabis Postbus Special was specially equipped with skis in front and a trailing axle and rubber tracks in back to make its way through the worst weather. Your model replicates a Postbus Special on its way to a ski lodge and resort carrying all the equipment and luggage its passengers will need for an enjoyable winter getaway.
